Performance Success

We were so proud of our dancers this weekend as many of them took to the New Theatre stage to perform in Identity Youth Dance Projects piece, In The Movies. Identity Youth Dance Project is run by two of our wonderful teachers Sarah Stead and Joseph Goodwin. Dancers from across Oxfordshire came together to create a marvelous show that was enjoyed by all.

They had some wonderful feedback from parents of participants…

“We just wanted to say how truly wonderful and inspiring the Identity Youth Project dance was on Sunday. It had variety, polish, professionalism and told a story really clearly. Everyone looked engaged and were really dancing as a team. From comments I heard around me, it was really the turn of the evening.”

“Thank you so much for giving Billy the opportunity to take part in yesterday’s performance. He had a super day and what an amazing experience! I thought the performance was super – it stood out in so many ways from the other sets and I think you and Joey did a wonderful job involving such a range of ages and abilities in such an imaginative and creative performance.”

Identity are already planning their next project starting in the Autumn, they hope to involve even more budding local performers. You can find out more information by emailing
