JADE SHELTON
Jade started dancing when she was 3. Since then she has been highly successful gaining her advanced dance exams and a BTEC National Diploma in Dance. She is currently a principal dancer of the Yuka Kodama Ballet Group and is also studying towards the first stage of her ISTD dance teaching qualifications.
PRINCIPAL
SARAH STEAD AISTD FDI, AIDTA
Sarah is the principal of Expression. She trained at Central School of Dance and Drama in Essex gaining teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap and Modern. During her dancing career Sarah worked her way up to principal dancer as a member of Innovations Dance Company and also made several TV appearances. Sarah has now been teaching dance for almost 8 years working in a number of dancing schools across the South East. She is currently working to further her qualifications studying for her ISTD Certificate in Dance Education.
TEACHING ASSISTANT
BETH JACKSON
Beth has been dancing for almost 16 years and has gained her major exams in RAD Ballet and IDTA Ballet, Modern and Tap. She has also taught and taken part in a range of other dance styles including street jazz and musical theatre. Beth is currently training to be a Primary school teacher and runs a dance and a fitness class for students at Brookes university.
TEACHER
KAREN SELLICK FISTD
Karen started learning ballet in San Francisco at the age of 8. Later she trained at Sadlers Wells Ballet School and for a short time danced with Sadlers Wells Theatre Ballet. Karen is a Fellow of the ISTD and used to run her own ballet school. Now, semi-retired, she continues to enjoy teaching ballet to children and adults.
